What to Expect When You Arrive
Our office at 1217 W Norfolk Ave is designed to feel calm and unhurried, not clinical. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of our team and taken to a quiet space to talk — there is no waiting room atmosphere and no pressure to move quickly through a conversation. We encourage families to bring any documents that may be helpful, such as identification for the person who has passed, existing pre-arrangement paperwork, or notes about specific wishes, though none of this is required for an initial visit.
If mobility is a concern, please mention it when you call ahead; our staff will make sure the visit is as comfortable as possible. We are also glad to meet with families outside of standard office hours when circumstances require it — simply call and we will do our best to accommodate the timing that works for you.
Beyond Norfolk City Limits
While our office is based in Norfolk, we regularly assist families throughout the surrounding northeast Nebraska communities. Distance is rarely a barrier — if travel is difficult, we can arrange phone or video conversations to begin the process, with in-person meetings scheduled once details are further along.
We also work with families who live out of state but have ties to Norfolk, whether because a loved one lived here for many years or because the family has chosen this community as a final resting place. In these situations, we coordinate closely by phone and email to make sure every detail is handled with the same care as an in-person arrangement.
